This is the medicine of the Full Moon in Aries, this 26th September. Aries is the newborn flame of the zodiac, the first spark struck from nothing. It does not ask for permission, it simply moves.

But this Moon does not stand alone in her fire. She is held close by Neptune, the planet of dreams, dissolution, mysticism and the boundless sea of the unconscious. And so we are asked to hold something paradoxical in our two hands at once. The fierce of courage to act and the soft surrender of not knowing where the path leads. Whilst Aries says go, Neptune whispers us to trust.
The Powers of This Moon
This is a threshold moon, the kind that stirs something ancient in the body long before the mind can name it. She asks us to dissolve the illusion of control, to call back your truth and to take the first step before you can see the whole staircase. You are reminded that you don’t need the five year plan, you just need to know the next right move. And during this Full Moon portal expect the veil between worlds to be heightened, dreams becoming vivid and the line between you and the collection consciousness grows thin as this is especially a highly spiritual transit.
The Ritual: Two Paths for Two states
(You will know in your body, which one is yours tonight. There is no wrong door)
Ritual One (If you are feeling sensitive, porous and raw)
For grounding, returning to the body and for closing the veil gently
Find a patch of earth and sit or lie down, let your skin meet the earth directly and let the moon witness you. Press your bare palms and body into the soil & close your eyes. Feel the temperature of the earth beneath you, is it cool, is it warm or is damp with evening dew? Breathe in for four counts, hold for four and release for six, imagining with each exhale that any excess energy is released into Mother Earth to be alchemised. Whisper the affirmation, “I release what is not mine, I return to my body and I am held by Mother Earth”. Stay here for as long as you intuitively need. And when you’re ready slowly rise, drink water, stay warm and protect your tenderness for the next few hours.
Ritual Two (if you are feeling grounded, steady & ready)
For descent, for meditation and for meeting the fire & fog together
If your body feels rooted enough tonight to go inward, this is an invitation into stillness. A guided meditation to walk beside the Aries fire and the Neptune mist. Find a comfortable seat, dim the lights & sit with the moonlight. When you are ready, read slowly pausing between each line or record your own voice reading it and let yourself simply receive
Close your eyes. Take a breath in, and let it fall out of you slowly, like a held tension finally releasing. Feel the base of your spine, rooted into the earth beneath you. You are supported. You do not need to hold yourself up right now. Imagine a small flame flickering alive. This is symbolic of your Aries fire. It does not question itself. It does not wait for approval. It simply burns, bright and certain of its own existence. Let this flame rise gently into your chest and feel it settle there. Now imagine, surrounding this flame, a soft silver mist. Neptune's veil, luminous, endless, like moonlight on water. This mist does not extinguish the flame. It simply surrounds it, softens its edges, reminds it that it does not need to see the whole path to keep burning. Ask yourself, gently, without needing an answer right away, "Where in my life have I been waiting for certainty before I allow myself to move?". And let whatever arises simply arise without judgment or a need to intellectualise. And ask again, "What is the smallest true step I could take, without needing to see the whole staircase?" Sit with the flame and the mist together, courage and surrender, breathing as one. When you feel ready, place a hand on your heart, and say inwardly, "I trust the step in front of me. I do not need the whole path. I only need my next true movement". Take one more breath and slowly let your eyes open, carrying this fire and this mist gently back into the room with you.

Where in my life have I been waiting for the "right moment" instead of simply beginning?
Where have I been compromising myself to keep the peace, or to avoid being seen as "too much"?
If I trusted my intuition completely tonight, what is it quietly telling me?
What does independence mean to me right now and where is the line between independence and disconnection?
